Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is not expecting to meet a mysterious woman as Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Not only that, eventually the two of them even become a partner when Mikael investigate the disappearance of a woman. Initially, this case looks simple but in fact behind it there is a complicated issue that enveloped him.
Mikael had been in trouble that kept him serving a prison sentence. At almost the same time, Lisbeth who worked at a security firm was watching Michael. Lisbeth then recommend Mikael on Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer) who was trying to find the missing nephew.
Harriet Vanger (Alexandra Daddario) when he was small and there is a possibility he was murdered. Initially the case looks quite simple but lately, more and more mysteries are revealed. Vanger family turned out to save a lot of mystery and some of the mystery was too dark to be revealed. Really Harriet Vanger been murdered? Who is responsible for the loss of Harriet?
