Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 American computer-animated/live action fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton, written by Linda Woolverton, and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen, Matt Lucas and Stephen Fry.The film is inspired by Lewis Carroll's 1865 fantasy novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. Wasikowska plays the now nineteen-year-old Alice who, 13 years after her previous visit, returns for the first time as a young woman. She is told that she is the only one who can slay the Jabberwocky, a dragon-like creature controlled by the Red Queen who terrorizes Underland's inhabitants.
The film premiered in London at the Odeon Leicester Square on February 25, 2010, and was released in Australia on March 4, 2010, and the United States and the United Kingdom on March 5, 2010, through IMAX 3D and Disney Digital 3D, as well as in traditional theaters. Do not feel the time has rolled out quickly. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is now aged 19 years and forget about all the adventures he had experienced as a child. Alice will not remember if it was an adventure not come again to him just when he was at a party.
Alice was at a party suddenly realized that he will soon be spoken for before the visitors party at that time. Feeling unprepared to face it, Alice was trying to escape. When trying to escape this is Alice meets the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen) who led her into a hole that was headed to the Wonderland.
After the death of Alice ten years earlier, there was a coup. Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) successfully took control of the White Queen (Anne Hathaway). All the inhabitants of Wonderland can only wait for the right time while preparing to retake power from the evil Queen this.
Back meets Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas), March Hare (Noah Taylor), Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), past memories went back to Alice. Now Alice into Wonderland hopes all residents who have long lived under pressure.
