A Good Old Fashioned Orgy is a 2011 ensemble-comedy film written and directed by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck. This movie studio is Michael De Luca Productions and a Twentieth Century Fox joint venture. It is being distributed by Twentieth Century Fox, the film was set to be released in theaters on August 5, 2011, but was pushed back to December 9, 2011.

Recently there has been a trailer released of the movie with the Rise of the Planet of the Apes film.

Shut Up Little Man! An Audio Misadventure

Shut Up, Little Man! is the title of audio vérité recordings of two argumentative and violent alcoholics, Peter J. Haskett and Raymond Huffman in San Francisco. Bananafish magazine arranged for a commercial release of the tapes in 1992.

The recordings were made by "Eddie Lee Sausage" and "Mitchell D.", who lived in a bright pink apartment building dubbed the "Pepto Bismol Palace" in San Francisco's Lower Haight district.Eddie Lee and Mitchell moved into the apartment in 1987, and discovered that their neighbors, Haskett and Huffman, argued nearly constantly, with Peter often shouting "shut up, little man!" at Ray. Eddie and Mitchell began tape recording the arguments, and distributing copies among their friends. Eddie Lee and Mitchell sometimes goaded Ray and Peter with prank telephone calls.

The film features interviews with Eddie Lee Sausage, Mitchell D, Dan Clowes, Henry Rosenthal, Ivan Brunetti, Mike Mitchell and Bob Mothersbaugh. A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Harold & Kumar is the common name for a series of stoner comedy films starring John Cho (Harold) and Kal Penn (Kumar). The first film, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, was released on July 30, 2004 by New Line Cinema, and spawned a sequel titled Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, released four years later. A third installment of the series is slated for release in 2011.

The two films, produced on a total budget of US$21 million, grossed $67.4 million worldwide. Critics have given the films mostly positive reviews. The series has been released on both Blu-ray and DVD.

A new film entitled A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas was announced on May 7, 2009, for release on December 5, 2010 at the earliest and possibly deferred to the 2011 holiday season.Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg returned to pen the film while Todd Strauss-Schulson directed. Greg Shapiro returned as producer with Kal Penn and John Cho reprising their title roles.Kal Penn left his job with the White House on June 1, 2010 to reprise his role as Kumar in the third Harold & Kumar installment.After filming was completed, Penn returned to the White House.

David Krumholtz, answering the last question of a Live Q&A Chat on TV.com that took place on March 12, 2010 at 11am PT, mentioned that he and Eddie Kaye Thomas would probably be in the third Harold & Kumar film.
Neil Patrick Harris also returned for the film (which he confirmed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson). He went as far as saying that he finished filming and that the movie will be released in 3D (filmed with 3D cameras). Patton Oswalt has been confirmed to also star in the film.Amir Blumenfeld, of CollegeHumor fame, has also confirmed that he has a role in the film.

Danny Maccabee (Adam Sandler) is a successful plastic surgeon in Los Angeles who feigns unhappy marriages to get women, after having been heartbroken on his wedding day 20 years ago. The only woman aware of his schemes is his office manager Katherine Murphy (Jennifer Aniston), a divorced mother of two. At a party, Danny meets Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), a sixth grade math teacher, without his wedding ring on, and they have a connection together. The next morning, she ends up finding the ring, and she assumes he was hiding the fact he was married. She refuses to date him because her parents divorced due to adultery and doesn't want to be an adulteress herself.

Danny goes to Palmer's school to try to woo Palmer back. Instead of telling her the truth, he tells her that he is getting divorced from a woman named Devlin, named after Devlin Adams, whom Katherine had mentioned was an old college sorority nemesis. Palmer then insists on meeting Devlin, and Danny agrees. Danny asks Katherine to pose for him, and they go shopping on Rodeo Drive to buy her clothes so she can look like a trophy wife.

At a hotel having drinks, Danny and Palmer are greeted by a made-over Katherine, who gives them her blessing. However, after hearing Katherine talking on the phone with her kids, Palmer assumes that her kids are Danny's as well, which Danny goes along with. Danny then privately meets with Katherine's kids, Maggie (Bailee Madison) and Michael (Griffin Gluck), to get them to play along. Initially Katherine is furious, but she reluctantly agrees.

One night, after a violent storm, Hailey wishes for a miracle that will make her mother change her mind about moving, and so they find a mermaid named Aquamarine (Sara Paxton) in the swimming pool of their beach club. The girls are frightened at first, but then curious. They start to talk with Aquamarine and promise her they will be back in the morning.

The next morning, Claire wakes up and hears a commotion down at the swimming pool where they left Aquamarine. Claire's grandparents were clearing the pool because of the huge storm. Both Claire and Hailey quickly rush down to save Aquamarine but when they reach the pool, everything has been cleared. They hear noises by the nearby beach's snack shack and find Aquamarine, naked.

Knight and Day

Knight and Day,(formerly titled Wichita and Trouble Man) is a 2010 romantic action comedy film starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. The film, directed by James Mangold, is Cruise and Diaz's second on-screen collaboration following the 2001 film Vanilla Sky.

The film went through a period of "development hell"; which included a prior film director and multiple writers that worked on the script. Producers for Knight and Day went through multiple other actors for the lead roles before eventually settling on Cruise and Diaz. Will Smith, Chris Tucker, and Gerard Butler were considered by the film's producers for the male lead that later went to Cruise, and Eva Mendes was initially set for the role that Diaz later portrayed in the movie. The film's investors offset funding costs by paying Cruise a lower advance fee and neglecting to provide him with a share of the revenue until the financiers earn back their initial investment in the production.Filming took place in several locations, mainly in several cities located in Massachusetts, while other scenes were filmed in Spain and parts of Austria.

Knight and Day follows the adventures of Roy Miller (Tom Cruise), a spy on the run, and June Havens (Cameron Diaz), a car restorer. Miller is seen watching Havens, and he bumps into her a couple of times as they go through security at Wichita Airport. Havens is making her way back home to Boston from Wichita, Kansas after picking up spare parts for her deceased father's classic Pontiac GTO car, that she is restoring for her sister as a wedding gift. Even though she has a confirmed reservation for her flight, she is told at the gate that it is overbooked. Miller, able to board, whispers to her that "sometimes things happen for a reason". Unbeknownst to Havens, Federal agent Fitzgerald (Peter Sarsgaard) is monitoring Miller's movements and, believing she is working with Miller, puts her back on the flight list.

On board the flight, Havens notices that there are only four or five other people present. She relaxes with a drink, and chats about her dream of someday driving to Cape Horn while Miller checks out the other passengers. She is charmed, and goes to the restroom to freshen up. While she is occupied, Miller is attacked by the remaining passengers and crew. Miller kills them all, including the pilots.

Arthur

Boozy playboy Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) and his chauffeur, Bitterman (Luis Guzman), dress up in Batman and Robin suits for a formal dinner hosted by Arthur's mother, Vivienne (Geraldine James). The dinner is intended to announce Arthur as the new chairman of her corporation, Bach Worldwide. Upon driving to the dinner in a Batmobile, intoxicated and being chased by police, Arthur is arrested and released the next day.

Vivienne and her shrewd assisstant Susan (Jennifer Garner) arrange a plan to have Susan marry Arthur to allow her to be in control of the company, leaving stable leadership. Arthur refuses, but is told that he will be completely cut off from the $950 million inheritance if he does not marry Susan. Arthur reluctantly agrees and asks Susan's father, Burt Johnson (Nick Nolte), for permission to marry his daughter. Burt agrees after putting Arthur to a table saw and warning him not to embarrass Susan. The next day, Arthur meets Naomi (Greta Gerwig), an illegal tour guide who Arthur takes an interest in to due to her rebellious nature. He arranges his wedding while sneaking around on dates with Naomi. Arthur's nanny, Lillian Hobson (Helen Mirren) – who normally dislikes all of Arthur's choices in women – gets to know and like Naomi. Arthur learns that Naomi would like to have her children's book about the Statue of Liberty published. Arthur attempts to find employment and other options so that he would be able to keep seeing Naomi and not need the $950 million, but to no avail.

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a 2009 American film adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella. Directed by P. J. Hogan, the film stars Isla Fisher as the shopaholic journalist and Hugh Dancy as her boss.

Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a shopping addict who lives with her best friend Suze (Krysten Ritter). She works as a journalist for a gardening magazine but dreams to join the fashion magazine Alette. On the way to an interview with Alette, she buys a green scarf. Her credit card is declined, so Rebecca goes to a hot dog stand and offers to buy all the hot dogs with a check, if the seller gives her back change in cash, saying the scarf is to be a gift for her sick aunt. The hot dog vendor refuses but a man offers her $20.
When Rebecca arrives at the interview, she's told that the position has been filled. However, the receptionist tells her there is an open position with the magazine Successful Saving. Rebecca interviews with Luke Brandon (Hugh Dancy), the editor of Successful Savings and the man who just gave her the $20. She hides her scarf outside his office, but Luke's assistant comes into the office and gives it back to her. Rebecca knows the game is up and leaves.
That evening, drunk, she and Suze write letters to Alette and Successful Saving, but she mails each to the wrong magazine. Luke likes the letter she meant to send to Alette and hires her. Rather than completing a work assignment for a new column, Rebecca goes to a clothing sale. While inspecting a coat she has just purchased, she realizes it is not 100% cashmere and she has been duped. This gives her an idea for the column, which she writes under the name "The Girl in the Green Scarf" and is an instant success.

The film opens with short order cook Frank D'Arbo (Wilson) telling the audience of the only two good memories he's had in a life of disappointment and shame-marrying his beautiful wife Sarah (Tyler) and an incident in which he directed some cops to catch a purse snatcher. These memories are depicted as two childlike crayon illustrations that Frank hangs on his wall.
Later on, Sarah, a recovering addict, leaves Frank for Jacques (Bacon), a charismatic strip club owner who gets her hooked on drugs. Frank sinks into depression, where he has a vision in which he is touched by the hand of God and meets the Holy Avenger (Fillion), a superhero from a public-access television show on the All-Jesus Network. He tells Frank that God has chosen him for a very special purpose. Frank later seeks the advice of Libby (Page), a neurotic comic book shop employee, under the pretense that he is designing a new superhero. Frank suits up in a patchwork costume, calling himself the Crimson Bolt. Armed with a wrench, he goes on a crime-fighting spree, brutally bludgeoning everyone from drug dealers, child molesters, and even those who butt in line. The Crimson Bolt soon becomes a media sensation. He later attempts to rescue Sarah, but Jacques' thugs recognize him under the costume and end up shooting him in the leg.

Movie Synopsis
In 2009, Graeme Willy and Clive Gollings (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) are two English comic book nerds and best friends who have travelled to America to attend the annual Comic-Con convention and to take a road trip in their RV to visit all the sites of major extraterrestrial importance. At night along the highway they investigate a crashed car and they meet and discover an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) who is in desperate need of their help.
Although shocked by the appearance of Paul, Graeme agrees to give Paul a ride, but Clive is not happy about the idea. Later, Lorenzo Zoil (Jason Bateman), a shady government agent, arrives at the site of the crashed car and informs his mysterious female superior over the radio that he's closing in on Paul, and she recommends using local law enforcement as back-up. Zoil then recruits two inept FBI agents, Haggard (Bill Hader) and O'Reilly (Joe Lo Truglio), to aid in his mission, without telling them the nature of their target.

Movie Synopsis
Thadeous (Danny McBride) and Fabious (James Franco) are the sons of King Tallious (Charles Dance). They are both warriors, but Fabious is dashing and skilled whereas Thadeous is lazy and ineffectual. In order to celebrate his latest victory, Fabious decides to marry his virgin girlfriend Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), but the ceremony is interrupted by the arrival of the evil sorcerer Leezar (Justin Theroux), who kidnapps Belladona and imprisons her at his dungeon, intending to rape her when the two Moons converge, impregnating her with a dragon that will allow him to take over King Tallious' kingdom.
Thadeous and Fabious set to rescue her alongside their band of knights, which includes Fabious' best friend Boremont (Damian Lewis), and Thadeous' servant Courtney (Rasmus Hardiker). They visit the Great Wise Wizard, who gives them a magic compass and tells them that they must retrieve the fabled Sword of Unicorn from a labyrinth protected by a Minotaur. On their way there, they are betrayed by Boremont, who felt slighted when Fabious asked Thadeous to be his best man, and escape from him and the corrupt band of knights alongside Courtney.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked

Shortly after the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray (March 30, 2010), Fox and Regency had announced that Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D was scheduled to be released on December 16, 2011. The title was then changed to Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chip-Wrecked.On January 22, 2011, Fox 2000 Pictures started production on Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chip-Wrecked during a Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Dream ship. Filming took place primarily on the ship’s upper, open decks with scenes featuring actor Jason Lee (reprising his role as Dave Seville) and the antics of The Chipmunks in the Carnival Dream’s outdoor recreation areas. Stops on the itinerary included Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Costa Maya (which provided tropical backdrops for many of the movie’s shipboard scenes).
