The Troll Hunter (Norwegian: Trolljegeren) is a 2010 Norwegian horror-thriller film, made in the form of a mockumentary. It is written and directed by André Øvredal, and features a mixed cast of relatively unknown actors and well-known Norwegian comedians, including Otto Jespersen. Perhaps no one believed that the troll is really there. People thought that this giant is only exist in mythology and fantasy stories only. In fact these monsters do exist and so far it seems the authorities are deliberately covering up the existence of these terrifying creatures.
Only a few people who know that Trolls do exist. One of them is Hans (Otto Jespersen), the Troll hunter. At first Hans did not intend to publish what he did but when a group of students forced to participate in the hunt, Hans finally willing as well.
Initially a group of students is intended to document the hunt bears in a remote area of ??Norway. After accidentally met Troll, the students are actually interested in making coverage of the creature that had never known to exist of this. Unfortunately, because of this ambition nor will they be risking the safety of all persons involved in this hunt.
