Movie Synopsis

Midnigh In Paris opened with a view of Paris that makes fall the liver plus the music that we often hear in cafe romantic (maybe not well). But much for the beautiful series of pictures of life in Paris that makes me smirk to see where I live now (people do not know myself). Percakapanpun suddenly appeared out of nowhere like the opening monologue of The Social Network. Apparently it is Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.

This is Gil, a struggling novelist who is still completing the manuscript. Gil and his fiancée, Inez, was in Paris while parents Inez who was on a business trip there. I originally saw Wilson as an actor who is only suitable for Wes Anderson movie, but after seeing it in this movie, it seems there is no other actor better suited to the role of Gil ala Woody Allen. Not a strong charisma, but Wilson looks so comfortable to be Gil.

Gil fell in love with life in Paris, while Inez and her parents disagree. Gil is the type of guy who prefers to walk in the rain on the streets of Paris rather than a luxury car ride in Paris. Cinematograph film is so hypnotic, we support one hundred percent mebuat Gil's desire to move. Midnight In Paris refers to the moment every night where Gil is always the way alone as a missing person and he's always strange car ride with a stranger, too. As a result Gil who always idolized figures such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Hemingway are considered delusional by Inez.

I immediately hooked from the beginning of this movie. Maybe that's the beauty of Paris, maybe it was a row of actors, or was it an interesting and funny story that Woody bring success this time. There are many famous names that appear even if only for a moment like Kathy Bates, Carlan Bruni, and Adrien Brody. Although I really enjoy seeing the appearance of Michael Sheen as a friend to a lot of him or Inez Corey Stoll as Hemingway, my eyes can not escape seeing the appearance of Marion Cotillard ynag look pretty and charming.

Midnight In Paris not only managed to realize the city of Paris in the era of modern or ancient times with the glamorous and romantic, but also managed to entertain and delight audiences. While there is in the middle of the story rather boring because it was too romantic, it can be forgiven for seeing how fast 90 minutes passed and felt so satisfying.
